One of founder Göran Holmberg's heart issues was that everyone on the planet should have access to this.

Through our simple and locally adapted system of filtration and then disinfection, we can ensure that a village has bacteria-free drinking water for many years to come at a very low cost. This is much cheaper than buying bottled water or running pipes from waterworks far away.

Our products are easy to use, even for the most vulnerable. No advanced technical equipment or knowledge is needed to obtain safe drinking water with the help of our products.
We are experts in water disinfection
We have been working on this for more than 28 years. We have worked in the most terrifying disaster environments, the Ebola in Guinea, the Tsunami in Asia, the earthquake in Haiti, the earthquake in Pakistan and several places. We know how to construct facilities that will function even after we leave the area.
- We cooperate with local organizations fully, and also with the Red Cross, WaterAid, MSB, UN agencies and several organizations. The reason for this is that they have local knowledge and staff on site who know the language. We know water, that's our area of expertise, in collaboration we can do so much more.
Through our training of local staff, we can keep costs down and ensure that more and more people have access to bacteria-free drinking water.
What does it cost?
A village with, for example, 3000 inhabitants with a river or lake nearby has no problem getting bacteria-free drinking water. First, the raw water they have access to is analyzed. A filtration plant of the simplest kind but materials they can find in their vicinity is constructed to filter out iron, manganese, humus, mercury or other impurities that may be present in the raw water. The river in the picture contains precisely those pollutants.
After the filtration is set up, in this case first a pump, 100 m of hose, drip stand and 6 barrels that filter, water is collected in a tank. There it is disinfected and then it's just a matter of drinking. The cost of a facility is about SEK 100,000. The operation per year is less than 10 öre per litre. They pay this operating cost entirely themselves and pay off the installation over 5 years. The production volume must be adapted to the expected consumption, which can amount to 50-100 liters per person per day - even if much less is consumed today.
If you have drinking water, you start showering in it, cooking and washing clothes. For us in the West completely ordinary - but for almost 1 billion people a dream that we want to make come true.

Xinix Global AB allocates 5% of its sales to the foundation. This makes it possible for the foundation to have rolling income all the time and can run its business even if the donations vary over time.

Insamlingsstiftelsen ligger under Länsstyrelsens tillsyn.
De medel som inflyter efter detta upprop skall som en självständig förmögenhet främja stiftelsens ändamål.

Stiftelsen har som ändamål att ge behövande människor, utan de ekonomiska möjligheterna, säkert dricksvatten och därigenom minska dödligheten och lidandet för dessa människor.

Från detta upprop beräknas registreringsprocessen ta 3 månader innan insamlingsstiftelsen får ett registreringsbevis med organisationsnummer. Då stiftelsen blivit tilldelat organisationsnummer kommer vi att upprätta bankkonto för att ta emot donationer.

Insamlingsstiftelsen kommer sedan, så snart som möjligt efter att alla registreringshandlingar är klara, att ansöka om ett 90-konto hos Svensk Insamlingskontroll samt ansöka om medlemskap hos intresseorganisationen GIVA.
