Clarification Regarding the WHO Evaluation
In 2019, a product called AquaCare was tested as part of WHO's evaluation scheme for household water treatment technologies. This product was produced by a former Xinix company that no longer exists. Since then, we have significantly improved our technology and product formulation. Our current products, Xinix FreeBact® Water & Surface, are the result of years of research and refinement by our in-house chemist, Dr. Robert Heinrich.
There are two major issues with the WHO test procedure that affected the results of the 2019 evaluation:
- Long storage period before testing – WHO requires a six-month storage period before testing begins. During this time, the samples were stored at room temperature, which is not ideal for our product.
- Incorrect dosage – The test used the recommended dosage from 2019, which was too low.
Unfortunately, despite multiple requests, WHO has not removed the outdated information from their website. However, we are actively working on submitting our improved products for evaluation, provided that WHO can ensure proper storage conditions that align with our product guidelines.
