Perfect for winter storage or when you want to ensure your water tank is free from biofilm, bacteria, viruses, and unpleasant odors. FreeBact® makes it easy to disinfect both the tank and faucets – so you can safely store vehicles or prepping tanks for extended periods. 5 times more effective than chlorine – and leaves no taste. Approved as a drinking water additive by the Swedish Food Agency.
Works to sanitize all types of tanks: fresh water, greywater, toilet, and freestanding tanks of various sizes.

How the 2-pack works for vehicles before WINTER STORAGE/AUTUMN
- For tanks up to 100 liters – use one bottle. For tanks 100–200 liters – use two bottles.
- Fill the tank almost full.
- Add the correct number of bottles and fill completely.
- Drain all taps for 1 minute (including the toilet if present).
- Let it work for 20 minutes.
- Drain all water from the tank via all taps.
- Now you can safely put away your boat, motorhome, or caravan for the winter.
How the 2-pack works for vehicles before the START OF THE SEASON/SPRING (as well as during the season)
- For tanks up to 100 liters – use one bottle. For tanks 100–200 liters – use two bottles.
- Fill the tank almost full.
- Add the correct number of bottles and fill completely.
- Drain all taps for 1 minute (including the toilet if present).
- Let it work for 20 minutes.
- The water is now safe to drink and does not taste of chemicals.
- Ideally, use continuously throughout the season when refilling with new water.
The advantage of FreeBact® is that the product not only makes the water safe to drink – it also prevents biofilm (slimy bacterial coating) from forming on the inside of the jerrycan, tank, and faucet.
Do this for smaller jerrycans and tanks, also suitable for prepping
Use a jerrycan of e.g. 5, 10 or 20 liters – there are many variants at e.g. Beredskapsfabriken.se, Clas Ohlson, Biltema. Preferably choose a model with a tap for easier daily use.

Shelf life and storage, unopened bottle:
At least 2 years. Store the product in the dark and avoid direct sunlight. Preferably store in a cool place, ideally in a refrigerator, 2–8 °C, which extends the shelf life. The product is active as long as the solution is yellow.

What is Chlorine Dioxide?
Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is not a new disinfectant; it was discovered in 1811 by Sir Humphry Davy.
It is well known as one of the world's most effective disinfectants. Since the 1950s, it has been primarily used for treating drinking water, and previously, on a larger scale, only in industries, because ClO2 is a gas by nature.

FreeBact® Water is a safe protection against pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses in water considered unsafe to drink. Can also be used for disinfection of fruit and similar items.
FreeBact® Water should always be used in water suspected of containing microorganisms; it will effectively inactivate bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi, and protozoa.
FreeBact® Water does not affect the smell or taste of the water and is approx. 5 times as effective as chlorine-based products. Our products do not form bound chlorine compounds/trihalomethanes, as chlorine-based products do (these are considered carcinogenic).
