Björnbadet - Sweden's first chlorine-free pool facility!
Since January 2026, Björnrike Ski Club has been using FreeBact® Dosage in its swimming pool facility to ensure stable and consistent water quality. The system provides continuous disinfection without traditional chlorine handling, which has reduced the risk of biofilm and created a safer swimming environment for both guests and staff.
After the installation and opening of the newly built facility, water samples have been stable from the start. Björnrike Ski Club reports consistent and reliable water quality even during the initial operating period. Guests, especially children, experience no stinging eyes or skin irritation. Even the cafe in the adjacent lounge is very happy to be rid of the chlorine smell; now it smells of freshly baked pizza, buns, and coffee instead!
From recurring problems to zero incidents
Since January 2025, a major Baltic Sea shipping company has been using FreeBact® Dosage in its spa department to ensure water quality. The system provides continuous and consistent disinfection, which has eliminated previous problems with legionella and biofilm. Since the installation, they have not had any failures during inspections.
