Björnbadet - Sweden's first chlorine-free pool facility!
Since January 2026, Björnrike Ski Club has been using FreeBact® Dosage in its pool facility to ensure stable and consistent water quality. The system provides continuous disinfection without traditional chlorine management, which has reduced the risk of biofilm and created a safer swimming environment for both guests and staff.
After the installation and opening of the newly built facility, the water samples have been stable from the start. Björnrike Ski Club describes a consistent and safe water quality already during the first operating period. The guests, especially the children, experience that it does not sting their eyes or irritate their skin. The café in the lounge next door is also very happy to be free from the chlorine smell; now it smells of freshly baked pizza, buns and coffee instead!
From recurring problems to zero impact
Since January 2025, a major Baltic shipping company has been using FreeBact® Dosage in their spa department to ensure water quality. The system provides them with continuous and even disinfection, which has led to the disappearance of previous problems with legionella and biofilm. After installation, they have no longer received any failures during inspections.
