FreeBact® Water – safe water without chlorine, up to 5 times more effective
FreeBact® Water is an effective solution for water disinfection, making unsafe water safe to drink. The product inactivates all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and biofilm, including E. coli, Legionella, and SARS-CoV-2.
FreeBact® Water does not affect taste or odor. The product is up to five times more effective than traditional chlorine-based alternatives and does not form bound chlorine compounds or trihalomethanes, substances known to be harmful.
The products can also be used to rinse fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuffs, as chlorine dioxide is approved by the Swedish Food Agency as an additive in drinking water.
FreeBact® Water is a stabilized liquid chlorine dioxide solution (ClO₂). It is available as a ready-to-use 1-component solution (shelf life: minimum 2 years) and as a 2-component product (shelf life: minimum 8 years). The product is active as long as the liquid has a yellow color.
The products are available for everything from small volumes of 1 dl/100 ml water, up to 10 m³. For larger systems and continuous treatment, we offer automated dosing via FreeBact® Dosage.
