Summer News from Xinix
It might have been a while since you last heard from us. In the meantime, a lot has happened at Xinix Global AB. This summer letter is therefore a bit longer than usual, almost like a small summer issue, with 12 brief updates from the past two years: new products, clearer product lines, new installations, international steps, collaborations, and some summer offers in the webshop.
We hope you find something relevant to you, whether FreeBact® is used at home, while traveling, in a boat or RV, or in a business where safe water, disinfection, and preparedness are important parts of daily life. This post includes examples for private individuals, companies, property owners, public sector organizations, and larger water systems.

ONE | RETURNING USERS - THANK YOU!
A big thank you to all of you who use FreeBact® year after year, in everyday life, while traveling, in boats, RVs, cabins, at work, in businesses, and in emergency kits, as well as to our professional users in real estate, industry, the public sector, humanitarian aid, pools, and larger water systems.
Our customers return because the products are so effective, leave no harmful residues, are easy to use, take up little space, provide good-tasting water, and because all products work in many situations.

TWO | THE COMPANY & THE BRAND
We are now clarifying our structure and our brand: the company is called Xinix Global AB and our product line is called FreeBact®.
This means that we are gradually transitioning to communicating that FreeBact® (previously called Xinix) will be the product series for water, surfaces, dosing, and fogging.
As part of this work, our packaging in Swedish and English is being updated in the same style as the Swiss packaging we have developed, with a clearer product name and a unified visual identity.
THREE | FLEXIBLE FOR CUSTOMIZED NEEDS
FreeBact® is available in four distinct product lines, tailored for various needs in water, surfaces, dosing, and fogging. All featuring our product based on chlorine dioxide.
FreeBact® Water
For water disinfection, from small bottles for personal use to larger volumes and tanks, e.g., boats, RVs, spas, paddling pools, and Pool Rescue 10-40 m3 (new!). Also for water pipes and distribution networks.
FreeBact® Surface
For disinfection of all types of surfaces, from small bottles for private use to larger solutions for public and professional environments. Everything from surfaces during travel, toys, pet supplies and accessories, to restaurants, patient clinics, hospitals, and offices.
FreeBact® Dosage
Continuous dosing in all types of water systems, from properties and industries to pools, spas, healthcare. Our leasing solution means the customer doesn't need any investment decisions; Xinix provides everything needed.
FreeBact® Fogging (new!)
Portable solution for fast and comprehensive disinfection of enclosed spaces up to 800 m³, using dry fog. Particularly suitable for hard-to-reach and exposed environments, such as patient rooms, ambulances, preschools, waiting rooms, clinics, etc. Here too, we offer a very flexible Leasing solution.
FOUR | REFERENCES
New installations, from pool & spa to properties, FreeBact® Dosage, launched in 2025 - now used in several different types of environments.
Two current installations concern pool and spa environments: the mountain facility Björnrike SkiClub - Björnbadet and the cruise ship Birka Gotland. The solution is used there to contribute to a safer water environment in these facilities with high demands on operation, water quality, and user safety. FreeBact® creates a water environment that is very close to drinking water quality, something particularly appreciated by children and people sensitive to chlorine.
A 1960s property with 54 apartments and legionella issues has also had the FreeBact® Dosage system installed on all incoming water, thereby completely preventing legionella. This demonstrates how our product can be used both in recreational environments and in properties where the entire water system needs to be managed in a safe and controlled manner.
FIVE | SUPERIOR IN ENCLOSED SPACES
Dry fog for enclosed spaces - disinfection in minutes! FreeBact® Fogging was launched in 2026 and is a portable solution for fast and comprehensive disinfection of enclosed spaces, available in 2 sizes.
The solution uses dry fog and has been developed for environments where larger surfaces and hard-to-reach areas need to be treated effectively. The dry fog reaches everywhere, i.e., even where manual disinfection is not effective (under furniture, on intricate interior details, and all surfaces in the room).
The product is particularly relevant for professional environments where hygiene, infection control, and rapid restoration of spaces are important factors. For example, a standard patient room: 5 minutes.
SIX | PART OF A LARGER CONTEXT
Xinix Global AB is participating in an EU application with Karolinska Institutet, Getinge, and Ericsson in a large and comprehensive application for an EU-funded research and innovation project within Horizon Europe, Innovative Health Initiative, IHI JU.
The project, SMART-AMR, is led by Karolinska Institutet and focuses on diagnostics and infection control in hospital environments in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The goal is to contribute to reduced spread of infection, strengthened patient safety, and better control of healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic resistance.
Xinix contributes as a clean-tech company with solutions for water and surface disinfection, with particular focus on FreeBact® Fogging, FreeBact® Dosage & FreeBact® Surface in hospital environments.
SEVEN | IN-DEMAND POOL PRODUCT
When the pool turns green, we choose blue! A customer with a truly green problem pool where several shock chlorinations had not worked, asked Xinix for help. Our new FreeBact® Water Pool Rescue is much more effective than chlorine - the pictures speak for themselves.
In approximately five hours, the pool went from green algae water to almost clear blue water. (Note: authentic customer photos, not AI)
FreeBact® Water Pool Rescue, is a (in-demand) new product for pools with acute water problems.
After use and contact time, chlorine dioxide breaks down and dissipates. You do not swim in any residual chemicals, but only in water that has been treated to be safer and clearer.
EIGHT | HELP FOR UKRAINE
Xinix Global AB has initiated a collaboration with ISSU, the Swedish-Ukrainian Foundation. As part of the collaboration, a pallet of FreeBact® products will soon be on its way to Ukraine.
For us, this has always been important - to make safe disinfection more accessible where the need is great. FreeBact® can provide solutions for safer water and effective surface disinfection in environments where resources, infrastructure, and hygiene conditions are heavily strained.
NINE | INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Xinix Switzerland GmbH and Xinix ASIA. Xinix continues to take international steps. Through Xinix Switzerland GmbH and Xinix ASIA we strengthen our presence outside Sweden and create better conditions to make FreeBact® available in more markets.
The new packaging profile (to be launched this autumn in Sweden as well), with clearer product lines and a more internationally adapted communication, are important parts of this work.
TEN | XINIX & THE WORLD AROUND US
Continuously available, despite an uncertain global situation. In a time of changing costs and an uncertain global situation, we continue to work to keep FreeBact® available for authorities, private individuals, companies, organizations, and essential societal services.
We try our best to mitigate some delays in shipments from suppliers abroad. We have so far been able to maintain our prices, but reserve the right to future price adjustments if conditions change.
Our focus remains the same: to deliver effective solutions for safe water and surfaces from Täby, to as many as possible.

TWELVE | NEW THINGS COMING
Finally: Keep an eye out this autumn! We continue to further develop FreeBact® in our lab here in Täby, where our development team is currently testing even more new applications and product formats.
Among other things, we are looking at a convenient combo product for acute situations where you quickly need to be able to handle both water and surfaces, at home, when traveling, in a boat, in an RV, by the pool, or in your emergency kit.
Xinix Global AB is a Swedish company that offers advanced disinfection solutions for both water and surfaces, based on chlorine dioxide (ClO₂). Chlorine dioxide has been used since the 1930s in industry and waterworks and is now available to a wider market through Xinix.
