FreeBact® Water Pool Rescue - 10-40 m3

FreeBact® Water Pool Rescue is a 2-component product for private pools of approximately 10–40 m³ with acute water problems, such as green pool water and algae formation.

The product consists of 12 liters of component A and 12 liters of component  B. After mixing, the solution is activated and has a yellow color. Add it to the pool, keep the circulation running, and wait at least 48 hours before swimming.

Chlorine dioxide is odorless and tasteless, and when used correctly, harmless to humans. After use and reaction time, chlorine dioxide breaks down and off-gasses. You are not swimming in residual chemicals, but in water treated to be safer and clearer.

Chlorine dioxide has been a well-known disinfectant in the water industry since the 1930s and inactivates viruses, fungi, and bacteria, such as E. coli, Legionella, Salmonella, and SARS-CoV-2.

FreeBact® Pool Rescue is an emergency measure to control algae and green pool water. You need to continue using the regular cleaning and filter system installed for your pool.

Chlorine dioxide is approved as a drinking water additive by the Swedish Food Agency.

Instructions

1. Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
2. Open drum A and drum B.
3. Pour the entire contents of drum A into drum B. 
4. Avoid spills - if it gets on your hands, rinse thoroughly with water.
5. Replace the cap on drum B and shake gently.
6. Unscrew the cap halfway and let the solution activate for 10 minutes. The solution will turn yellow (= active chlorine dioxide - not to be confused with chlorine).
7. Spread the activated yellow solution evenly in the pool, with circulation running.
8. Keep circulation running and wait 48 hours before swimming.
9. Continue to use the pool's regular filter and cleaning system.

Important: Gas is produced during mixing and dosing. Avoid inhaling the gas and handle the product carefully.
